I recently met with glassblower and mixed media artist Michael Allison in Joelton, Tennessee at his studio to interview him for The Creative Push artist interview series. Not only is he a professional glass artist but he also creates beautiful jewelry, and other mixed media works with metal and wood. These are the images I was able to capture in the short time I had while doing our interview.

My recent interview for my podcast series The Creative Push was with James Suh, the man behind Taco Diplomacy. The idea started with a recent taco pop-up that was the result of the COVID lockdown which allowed him more time at home in the kitchen with his hobby baker wife Karri. She inspired him to perfect some of his international recipes from the food flavors he remembered as a child. They both started offering free tastings from their home in order to get honest feedback on their recipes. The success of their pop-up tastings led to the creation……

She has started creating jewelry from the dyes collected using metal clay, it allows her to recreate ancient looking talismans and amulets.
