I recently met with master woodcarver Ken Means in his Franklin, Tennessee workshop and showroom to interview him for The Creative Push artist interview series. Outside of creating beautiful carousel animals, Ken is also a painter, a bronze artist, and a creator of authentic Pacific Northwest Indian masks. As a professional artist for more than 60 years his story is unique. These are the images I was able to capture in the short time I had while doing the interview.
In my artist interview podcast with Ken, he shares his creativity and offers advice to other artists.
You can find more about Ken on Instagram.
You can also read Ken’s story on The Creative Push blog post. Stay tuned for some new projects I am working on with other creatives coming soon.
